Nestled in the picturesque mountain town of Blowing Rock, Bent Tree Furniture is a 3,000 square foot showroom offering brand new inventory from some of the top furniture manufacturers in the country. All products are sold directly off the showroom floor, with new inventory arriving weekly. Allie Bentley is the face of Bent Tree Furniture, welcoming customers from out of town as well as locals who come regularly to see what's new. She works to source new inventory each week so there are fresh pieces to shop when the store opens every Thursday through Saturday.
At Bent Tree Furniture you will find unique, one-of-a-kind pieces unlike anything else in the High Country. The showroom exudes a mountain modern aesthetic, and you will always find durable and functional items, as well as a huge selection of leather products. All leather furniture is of the highest quality, with absolutely no synthetic pieces offered at the store. Bent Tree prides itself in stocking the showroom with stylish statement pieces including, hair on hide chairs, ottomans, and desks. You will find furniture made with high end stones such as marble and travertine, metals such as pewter and polished chrome, and woods such as oak and mahogany. Customers can also work with Allie to create their own custom leather pieces with a huge selection of finishes to choose from. Lamps, rugs, feather down throw pillows, and artwork adorn the showroom and are also for sale.
Products from Bent Tree can be shipped anywhere in the country, and local deliveries are offered to customers in the High Country.

Matt grew up working at his family’s lumber yard in the foothills town of Lenoir. He has a vast amount of knowledge regarding home construction and great resources and relationships in the industry, which serve as a huge asset to the client. With a passion for and great understanding of the High Country, Matt has built a team of connections including architects, engineers, craftsmen, subcontractors, and clients that set Bent Tree Construction apart from other home builders. For Matt and his team at Bent Tree Construction, it’s an honor to help people create homes where memories will be made and cherished for years to come.

How It All Started
Matt and Allie Bentley were both born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina. After their first date together in Blowing Rock, every weekend trip quickly became a journey up 321 to the Appalachian High Country. Whether they were hiking a favorite trail, strolling the downtown streets, or driving around looking at property, it became easy to recognize in each other a shared passion for the mountains.
The Bentley’s moved to Boone in February of 2020 with their two month old son, Rome, and Matt began working as a real estate agent for Allen Tate of the High Country. They later founded Bent Tree Furniture in November of 2020, after seeing a need for greater access to high end, functional furniture in the area. Soon after, Matt became a licensed general contractor and the puzzle pieces were coming together. The work Matt does as a Realtor has led to numerous construction jobs, and Matt’s experience with building and renovating homes is tremendously beneficial to his Real Estate clients. The furniture store is another piece of the puzzle, furnishing the homes of both Real Estate and Construction clients, while also serving as a huge resource for locals or any visitor in search of new furniture to take home immediately.
If you stop by Bent Tree Furniture on a Saturday, you’re likely to see Matt, Allie, and Rome together on the showroom floor. Rome draws pictures for customers and Matt helps load their vehicles with furniture. For Rome, the showroom has been a place to play and explore since he was an infant. To the Bentley’s, Bent Tree Furniture and Bent Tree Construction are extensions of their family. Love, sweat, and tears have been poured into both businesses, and they’re immensely proud to have the Bent Tree brand rooted in the beautiful Blue Ridge.
